Zachary and Haley started talking online at the beginning of 2023. A few weeks later they met at the movies, where Haley almost drove away when Zachary pulled up next to her. They started their date by meeting at the movies, then went to play mini golf, getting a snack at whataburger and then heading back to the movies to watch the movie Plane. Haley asked Zach about every 5 seconds what was going on. After the first date they went on a few more dates where Zach met Haley’s cousins and some family. Eventually it led up to Haley asking Zach to come on the family trip to college station. After spending time with family bowling, Zachary asked Haley out on February 25th, 2023. From that day their relationship took off. Zachary introduced Haley to his family in March! In July Zach spent most of his time in Oklahoma working out of town while Haley spent some time back home in Iowa with her family. Towards the end of the month Zach decided to make the trip to meet Haley’s family in Iowa as well. They both went back to Texas but shortly after Haley received a job opportunity she couldn’t turn down. Zachary and Haley made the tough decision to move back to Iowa. Haley went first in September. Zachary stayed back for a couple of months. This made their relationship stronger. Zachary officially moved at the end of October. November 4th, Zachary and Haley went on a date where they went to a state park and were walking the trails. Haley was interested in the green moss in the water on the bridge but little did she know when she turned around Zach was on one knee. Obviously she said yes and know we are here!
