Our Wedding

On a classic swampy DC summer night, Kevin & Haley’s mutual friends arranged for the two to meet at a dinner party, featuring indulgent Natty Lite and &nbsp;cheesy chicken parm. Their friends thank ice cream for inspiring them to set Haley & Kevin up, “since they could not think of two people who were more obsessed with Ben & Jerry’s.” Kevin, a college Sophomore at the time, decorated his dorm walls with every Ben & Jerry’s pint he enjoyed, hanging them as trophies. Meanwhile, Haley spent her entire Hilltern stipend on a new pint of Ben & Jerry’s each night to reward herself for training for her first DC triathlon, which Kevin would eventually join her in completing. Haley & Kevin wasted no time getting to know each other, setting up their first date at “Gelbucks” the day after they met. Haley looked past the fact that Kevin didn’t know how to order the correct Starbucks size and Kevin looked past the fact that Haley preferred Starbucks over Dunkin’ and they eventually spent six hours in a booth talking family, philosophy, and food in the ever-romantic Marvin Center. Soon the two were inseparable and their friends began to question their judgement for setting Haley & Kevin up, uncertain of ever being able to see their two love bird friends again. Nonetheless, Haley & Kevin continued to grow up together, officially moving into their first apartment senior year, overlooking the clean, crisp Potomac River and eventually adopting their perfect angel Cassie, officially starting their quintessential millennial family. As they continue to grow their already elderly souls, they couldn’t imagine better partners to enjoy the rollercoaster of life with.
