What is the weather going to be like?
It is early March in the Shenandoah Valley so it could be very cold or a little warmer, depending on what it decides that week. PLEASE check the weather forecast. The ceremony is inside a church and the reception is in a barn that does have radiant heating. Since we are so close to the mountains it will get cold at night.
Dress code
Dressy, cocktail, etc. Please no jeans!
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, just make sure they are on your RSVP when you RSVP. If you don’t see them please let Joel or Haley know and we will fix it!
Can I have a plus one?
Yes we accounted for plus ones, just make sure they are included in your RSVP.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony, we are hiring a photographer and videographer to capture the day and we will share them with you.
When do I need to RSVP by?
February 15
Please note that no alcoholic beverages will be served by the couple at the event.
Parking for the reception hall is located at the base of a gravel driveway that leads up to the entrance of the barn. If needed, accommodations can be made for you to be dropped off at the top of the hill, next to the entrance.
Keep in mind that the reception is being held on the premises of someone's home. Please be courteous and respectful.
Should I bring a gift to the wedding?
Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be brought with you or shipped directly to our home address!
