We had met working in the emergency department at Mercy several years prior to dating. At the time Seth was working as a pharmacy intern, commuting from UMD Duluth. Shortly after meeting, we started following each other on social media (each of us has conflicting answers as to who followed who first). Throughout the next couple years we would occasionally message on social media and talk at work. After Seth moved home from Duluth during rotations for grad school, we started talking more and more and finally decided to go on a date. Although we had already known each other for years, we were both still nervous for our first date together.
