Haley's Perspective:

I truly believe God played a huge role in bringing Kevin and me together. I moved from Kentucky to Florida at the end of 2017, and that decision has led to so many blessings. I've had an amazing career, made lifelong friends, joined the Catholic young adult community, and—most importantly—met Kevin.

Our mutual friend Anthony became close through the St. Timothy's Catholic Young Adult group, which I helped start in 2018. Kevin joined the group just as I stepped back to co-lead another group, and the timing was perfect for their friendship to blossom. In September 2023, Anthony invited Kevin to join our Apostles group, and that's when I officially met him. A few weeks later, we were paired as prayer partners, and after some fun conversations, Kevin asked for my number.

Our first date was at a shooting range, where we spent hours talking and having fun missing our range time slot twice. After that we went on several amazing dates, getting to know each other, and by February, we were boyfriend and girlfriend.

In March, while baking blueberry muffins together, I realized I was in love with Kevin and since then, we've continued to grow together, meeting each other's families and dreaming about our future.

On November 2nd, he took me to my favorite brunch spot, to the history museum next door, a tea/coffee shop, and a candle-making shop, and to top it off he whisked me away to the beach, where, at sunset, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said yes! We spent a few more quiet moments on the beach before heading back to Starkey Ranch, where our families were waiting to celebrate with us, thanks to Kevin's masterful planning!

We share so many passions and dreams, and I feel so blessed to have found someone as amazing as Kevin. I’m endlessly grateful for Kevin, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
