Our story began in August of 2018 as we started graduate school. We would hang out occasionally and attend a lot of the same events. Fast forward to the last two semesters of school, and we decided to give this little friendship a different title. We became roommates; probably not what most of you were thinking. This is when we really started to spend time with each other.

We did a lot of date-like activities without actually calling them dates, and according to Haley, did not think of Jake that way until he showed interest in her. A few months after another title change (Jake could not bear to see Haley leave without making things official), Haley moved to Michigan to work for her stepmom at her private practice. Jake basically acted like a child with two sets of parents; he would spend two weeks in Florida and then two weeks (sometimes more) in Michigan, keeping this pattern until July. This was when Jake moved up to Michigan to be with Haley full-time.

We moved back to Florida and bought our first house in March of 2022. Once we were settled in, Jake decided it was time for yet another title change: fiancés! He constructed an out-of-this-world (can you guess who is writing this) proposal that resulted in an astounding "YES"!

It took us two years to plan the wedding, but we are here now and are so excited to spend the culmination of nearly four years of hard work, laughs, tears, and a whole lot of love together with all of you. We truly appreciate all your love and support over the last four years and are so grateful to give you all a weekend of fun, food, dancing, and drinks; which hopefully none of us will ever forget.
