Watson and I are both Conway natives that happened to fall in love 250 miles away from home. Our story started in 2020, I was about to start my Sophomore year at Clemson University. Watson just finished his two years at HGTC and transferred to Clemson to start his Junior year. He claimed he needed to get to know me better because he didn’t know anyone at Clemson. I was easily convinced to go on a date with him. However, I was a little nervous when he picked me up for our first date on a moped that didn’t have headlights. Little did I know - that moped ride, in the dark, to a Mexican restaurant would totally change my life. We quickly became inseparable. Fast forward to June 16, 2024, it was Watson’s 25th birthday and Father’s Day. I had the idea of doing a combined dinner with both families to celebrate our dad’s and Watsons birthday. Watson took this as the perfect opportunity to propose to me and boy was I so surprised! The selfless act of a proposal on his birthday is just a small glimpse of the amazing man he is. Our relationship has always been so natural and easy & we can’t wait to celebrate forever with all of our people!
