The Nelson Atkins is a free art museum. There are several famous art pieces to see, and a self guided tour takes approximately two hours.

This is a free nature trail if you are looking to get some fresh air.

Parkville Nature Sanctuary

Loose park is a public park located near the Country Club Plaza. There is a large rose garden to enjoy, and a walking trail.
