ACCOMMODATIONS

Due to the large variety of lodging options in Estes Park and availability of parking at the wedding venue, we have decided not to reserve a traditional room block. Instead, we have selected hotel and cabin recommendations near the venue that we are hoping will fit all ranges of budgets. Please do not feel obligated to choose these hotels if you find another option that better suits your needs. Additionally, as our venue location is near Rocky Mountain National Park, the area is filled with rentable cabins. When selecting a place to stay, we recommend that guests look for cabins in Estes Park and remember to consider checking out Airbnb or Vrbo for additional options. Note that we recommend booking accommodations for at minimum Saturday 11/1/25 &amp; Sunday 11/2/25. The hotels &amp; cabins listed below are all 5-20 minutes from our venue. See the bottom of this page for transportation information.

SEASONAL ROAD CLOSURE

Note that Trail Ridge Road is closed during the winter; this is the road between Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake CO. This area is in the mountains and thus doesn’t have many accommodations anyways, but just be aware not to book in or around Grand Lake.

All hotels/cabins/rentals anywhere near or around downtown Estes Park (as well as Fall River Road which Della Terra is located on) will not be affected by the road closure.

There are suites and cabins available for booking AT our wedding venue, however the number is limited. If interested, please email dellaterraguestservices@wedgewoodweddings.com for booking as soon as possible. To view room options on the website, scroll over "Stay" and click on "Luxury Suites" or "Mountain Cabins." The suites are located inside the venue's building, and the cabins are located on property very close to the building.

McGregor Mountain Lodge is only 4 minutes from the venue and offers a variety of rooms, suites, and cottages. They are also pet-friendly. Use code ESTESNOW to get a third night for free.

TRANSPORTATION

Wedding Day: There is plenty of parking available at the wedding venue. If needed, guests are allowed to leave their cars at the venue overnight and pick up the following day.

Airport Transportation: We recommend that groups share rental cars where possible, as the drive from the Denver Airport to Estes Park will be around 1.5 hours. Alternatively, there is a shuttle service to and from the airport which we've included below.

Things to Do

Caleb first noticed Haley during their Econ 100 class at Illinois Wesleyan University, and he was intrigued by her intelligence. They were introduced by mutual friends and began studying together toward the end of the semester, building a strong foundation of friendship. As they entered their second semester of college, Caleb and Haley grew closer, a bond that was unexpectedly accelerated when Haley's roommate Esther invited Caleb to their sorority informal as Haley’s date. However, when the informal actually came, Haley got nervous and ditched Caleb for most of the evening. This led to a few months of mutual friend-zoning each other. Fortunately, during a summer trip to Colorado after freshman year, Caleb and Haley realized they were undeniably more than just friends. By the following fall, they decided to make it official after nearly a year of knowing each other. Years later, after graduating from college and living in different cities, states, and even countries, Caleb and Haley both found themselves in Chicago in 2022. On May 4th, 2024, Caleb proposed at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, and they are overjoyed to begin their happily ever after!
