Hinge was responsible for formally introducing Haley and Nate in 2020. Although they swiped right, they didn’t meet in person for six months because it was the start of covid. They frequently message back and forth and would FaceTime any chance they had. As time went by they were both getting bored of talking over the phone. Haley tried time and time again to get Nate to come over to watch a movie or participate in a game night with her roommates but Nate was always too busy spending time with his boys.
Finally, after many efforts Nate agreed to come over to Haley’s for a covid date. Due to social spaces being closed, Haley had her favorite Italian restaurant, FIVE, ordered in and a movie to watch together. They ate dinner and they talked for hours about random things while trying to get to know each other. Nate claims Haley brought him out of his quiet shell. After that day Haley couldn’t get him to stop talking.
As time went on and their relationship continued to grow, an opportunity came where Haley needed a place to live because she was moving out of her roommate’s house. So, Nate talked to his roommate Wade about it, and they agreed that she should come live with them. Being able to spend day in and day out together Nate knew he had made the best decision of his life.
Fast forward to things getting to the next step of their lives, Nate planned out a proposal with Haley’s sister. This included asking all of Haley’s loved ones for their seal of approval, without hesitation they all said yes. On July 3 ,2023 at the coast in Los Osos, California he popped the question. Neither of them ever thought they would find a best friend that they get to spend the rest of their lives with, yet here they are. So, thank you hinge for helping Haley and Nate find each other.
