It all started in high school when Jake came up to a lunch table to talk to a bunch of my friends. Not realizing that Jake was trying to specifically talk to me, he repetitively showed up at lunch! From there we kicked it off as best friends. He then managed the girls basketball team…you would have thought I would get the hint at that point! LOL! Shortly after High School, Jake decided to join the Marine Corp, and off he went to boot camp. Me being me, I only wrote him once, but the response that I got back from him was priceless! He missed home, but really enjoyed eating everyday! That is what he looked forward to the most. Fast forward to him returning home from training, we finally decided to make it official…way back in 2018! We look forward to the future and growing closer together over the years, and we are excited to celebrate with everyone in September!
