Our Wedding

Haley and Charles met on St. Patrick’s day of 2020 after their mutual friend Taylor invited both of them to a hotel party he was throwing at the Embassy Suites in St. Charles, MO. Charles and Taylor went to State Tech together and both graduated in Auto Body Collision Repair, while Taylor and Haley met through Haley’s high school friend, Peter (who also went to State Tech). Haley made her way to the hotel, ready to party, locked eyes with Charles and they instantly connected and talked all night long. Charles had to go back to Orrick, MO. the next morning and actually left without getting Haley’s number, so Taylor again stepped in and saved the day, helping the two exchange contact information.…and then the whole world shut down for 6 weeks because of COVID…The two talked non-stop for the time they were apart and eventually Charles made the drive back to St. Charles to visit all of his friends (and Haley). They decided they kinda liked each other and that for the next year and a half, they’d travel back and forth, every other weekend. Along the way, they fell in love, a house was bought, many exciting trips were taken, adventures were had, a graduation occurred, and Haley even moved to Excelsior Springs, MO for a summer. While there, she got a job and met some amazing people, but knew at the end of the summer that she had to go back to St. Louis and pursue her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. So, when she returned, he did too. This time, permanently. He got a new job, they got an apartment together, and had a few more adventures. Now, onto their biggest adventure yet, getting married! *gasp*Lets do this!
