From the first time I laid eyes on Haley, I knew it was no ordinary first date. She had green eyes that resembled the fairways in Scotland. Her laugh was amazing, and she was the perfect mix of being laid back and also intriguing. I have always been a little bit of downtown and a little bit of honkytonk. So when we wrapped up our dinner at Butcher &amp; The Boar in the North Loop, and we both told each other we weren't ready for the night to end, there was only one place a Minneapolis kid could take his dream girl...the 1029 bar! A couple of beers (on my part) later and $700 up on pulltabs, it was time to say goodnight to an amazing date. I knew I might not see her again, as she was leaving for Europe for 2 weeks, and I was busy running around to Denver, Indy and Florida for football games at this time. But somehow, we stayed in touch. The connection was magnetic. She was a mirror image of myself, and we drew closer and closer even though we were thousands of miles apart those first few weeks. When we reunited, the spark of that first night continued to grow as we took our first getaway to Duluth before the holidays to see the Bentleyville lights on Lake Superior. Brunch at Tobies, an Airbnb on the waterfront, a funny casino trip (Haley accidentally sat us down at a $40/spin slot machine) and a lot of laughs made for a great first getaway. As we began the new year in this new relationship, I started turning my bachelor pad downtown into a place we both could call our own. I surprised Haley with a drawer in the bathroom, and bought a dresser for her clothes. Things were getting serious. We took our first golf trip to Savannah, GA &amp; Hilton Head, SC to play Harbour Town (In which I got smoked). Haley saw firsthand my love for the south. From the historic Gastonian Inn under the Spanish moss in Savannah, to the beach front hotel on the island in Hilton Head, and the great down home cooking, the trip was near perfect. On our last round of the trip, I choked away the lead at Atlantic Dunes Golf Course, and Haley's eyes lit up as we walked into her favorite store, Lululemon, in Charlotte as I paid up on my bet before our flight home. Our first summer was filled with downtown nights, walks with Lulu (our puppy), weekends at the cabin, concert after concert, trying out new restaurants and lots of golf, our love grew to new heights. We started to talk about a future together. Our first big test was right around the corner...football season with Thomas. Vikings tailgates, our first Iowa vs Minnesota football game, and a trip to Nashville for a Vikings game highlighted our first season together. As our lives continued to weave together heading into 2025, I began to envision the rest of my life with Haley. I began plotting with her sister-in-law Stephanie about asking the woman of my dreams to spend the rest of her life with me. We deceived the perfect plan to surprise detective Haley. It happened to be a blistering cold day in Minneapolis, as I stood outside of Aster Cafe in St. Anthony Main. My toes began to freeze as Haley and Steph circled the block 4 times looking for a parking spot. I had roses scattered across the cobblestone, nervous if she was going to be surprised or not. It came together perfectly as they walked towards the Cafe sidewalk. I said, "Hello beautiful" as Haley's eyes twinkled, I've never seen her smile so big as she responded, "I KNEW IT!". It was a picture-perfect moment in our lives, and I can't wait to see where this journey leads us.

Chris and Thomas met freshman year at DeLaSalle High School, playing baseball and football together. A lot of growing up together and crazy nights in between has turned friends into brothers. A love for cigars, scotch whisky, food, finance, traveling from Iowa City to Mexico has created an everlasting bond.

Marshall and Thomas met in 3rd grade. When Thomas moved to North Minneapolis, Marshall took Thomas under his wing as the new kid in school and their bond has never been broken. Being born 5 days apart, playing sports together growing up at North Commons park to having our first legal drinks together at 21, they will always be brothers for life.

A friendship over a decade strong. A love for Hawkeye football has led to many gamedays at The Loop downtown Minneapolis and  a love/hate relationship with Viking football has led to many tailgates/games that grew a friendship into one of Thomas's best friends. Annual Viking game trips, Big Ten Championship trip in Indy, and a Malort shot or two at the Billy Goat in Chicago built a lifelong bond of brothers. 

Jared Hanson

A friendship that started in Dinkytown with a lot of beer drinking and nights out has evolved into a brotherhood that will last a lifetime. With a shared passion for the links, Thomas and Casey have shared many of beautiful summer days out on the golf course with the annual scramble tournament always a day that's circled on the calendar and many of winter days in the dome at Braemer dreaming of that perfect round!

Casey Symons

Thomas's brother-in-law is one of the best people he knows. Family man, car enthusiast, chill to the core. Whether it's our annual project of putting the dock in, him teaching Thomas about cars, or just kicking back and having a house party in White Bear with a couple beers and grilling. The bond is undeniable. Brothers for life.

Twin of Davis but really freaking tall. Draftkings savant. Doesn't care about nothin' but the Tide! Roll Damn Tide.

Another brother of the bride. There's a lot of them. College hockey coach, when his own brothers and father won't help him move, Thomas will.

Twin of Travis. Bitcoin King, switches out his golf clubs alot. High school golf coach. 

Taylor Tollette

Sister-in-law of the bride. Steph would drop anything to help family. The most reliable human I know. 

Stephanie Tollette

High school friend of the bride. She saw Haley through the awkward phase of life and still chose to stick around.

Friend of the bride. Known as a wild child and will always keep you on your toes.

High school friend of the bride. Although she may appear quiet, once you get to know her, she will never cease to make you laugh.

Sister of the groom. Tik Tok famous. Total goofball :)

Friend of the bride. Boy, have we seen highs and lows together. Still, we choose every day to stick by each other's sides. If you spend any time with us, you might get lost in our inside jokes and crazy stories.

Sister-in-law of the bride. Proof that high school relationships can last.

Wayzata is located 15 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis and 30 minutes northwest from MSP. There are multiple major highways that will get you to the Wayzata area from MSP including 494, and 394.

MSP is a major international airport (Delta hub) just south of downtown Minneapolis with light rail trains going north into downtown Minneapolis. No train currently runs west of downtown to Wayzata directly.

A major attraction in Wayzata is Lake Minnetonka (Prince). With plenty of restaurants that range from high end steakhouses to bar &amp; grills. If you are looking for a nice steak try Gianni's or 6smith. If you like seafood try COV. Josefina's, McCormick's Pub and Wayzata Bar &amp; Grill are also recommended.
