Haley and Emanuel got engaged April 2nd, 2024, in Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs. Emanuel had booked the trip as a Christmas gift to Haley and had the proposal planned for months. As they were exploring a certain spot Emanuel wanted to go see, Haley asked a family to take a picture of them. Emanuel then proposed and Haley realized the family was actually a professional photographer Emanuel had hired. After they took photos, Haley called her family who had been waiting to hear from her, as Emanuel shared with them what was going to happen. They then spent the day celebrating at a winery, champagne at their Airbnb and at a Denver Nuggets game.
