Our Wedding

Hi&nbsp;there!&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;Haley,&nbsp;and&nbsp;this&nbsp;is&nbsp;Mike—my&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend,&nbsp;my&nbsp;answered&nbsp;prayer,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;love&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;life. We&nbsp;met&nbsp;through&nbsp;a&nbsp;divine&nbsp;connection:&nbsp;my&nbsp;co-worker-turned-friend&nbsp;Beth,&nbsp;whose&nbsp;brother&nbsp;was&nbsp;Mike’s&nbsp;childhood&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend.&nbsp;One&nbsp;day,&nbsp;she&nbsp;looked&nbsp;at&nbsp;me&nbsp;and&nbsp;said,&nbsp;“You&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;Mike.”&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;right—and&nbsp;she&nbsp;hasn’t&nbsp;let&nbsp;us&nbsp;forget&nbsp;it! From&nbsp;late-night&nbsp;talks&nbsp;to&nbsp;weekend&nbsp;adventures,&nbsp;it&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;take&nbsp;long&nbsp;to&nbsp;realize&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;building&nbsp;something&nbsp;real.&nbsp;Two&nbsp;old&nbsp;souls,&nbsp;both&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;beat&nbsp;up&nbsp;by&nbsp;life,&nbsp;found&nbsp;comfort,&nbsp;healing,&nbsp;and&nbsp;laughter&nbsp;in&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp; We&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;leap&nbsp;of&nbsp;faith&nbsp;early&nbsp;on,&nbsp;moving&nbsp;to&nbsp;Texas&nbsp;so&nbsp;Mike&nbsp;could&nbsp;pursue&nbsp;his&nbsp;dream&nbsp;of&nbsp;working&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;film&nbsp;industry.&nbsp;What&nbsp;we&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;know&nbsp;then&nbsp;was&nbsp;just&nbsp;how&nbsp;much&nbsp;that&nbsp;move&nbsp;would&nbsp;test&nbsp;us.&nbsp;Life&nbsp;threw&nbsp;challenges&nbsp;at&nbsp;us&nbsp;that&nbsp;would’ve&nbsp;torn&nbsp;most&nbsp;couples&nbsp;apart—grief,&nbsp;hardship,&nbsp;and&nbsp;more&nbsp;than&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;battles&nbsp;we&nbsp;never&nbsp;saw&nbsp;coming. But&nbsp;through&nbsp;it&nbsp;all,&nbsp;God&nbsp;carried&nbsp;us.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;faith&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;the&nbsp;anchor&nbsp;through&nbsp;every&nbsp;storm,&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;give&nbsp;Him&nbsp;full&nbsp;credit&nbsp;for&nbsp;restoring&nbsp;what&nbsp;felt&nbsp;broken&nbsp;at&nbsp;times.&nbsp;We’ve&nbsp;come&nbsp;out&nbsp;stronger,&nbsp;more&nbsp;unified,&nbsp;and&nbsp;more&nbsp;certain&nbsp;than&nbsp;ever&nbsp;that&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;meant&nbsp;for&nbsp;forever.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;faith&nbsp;isn't&nbsp;just&nbsp;important&nbsp;to&nbsp;us—it’s&nbsp;the&nbsp;foundation&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;relationship,&nbsp;and&nbsp;it&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;front&nbsp;and&nbsp;center&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;marriage. Now,&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;stepping&nbsp;into&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;season—grateful&nbsp;for&nbsp;where&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;been&nbsp;and&nbsp;filled&nbsp;with&nbsp;hope&nbsp;for&nbsp;what’s&nbsp;ahead.&nbsp;We&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;this&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;people&nbsp;who’ve&nbsp;prayed&nbsp;with&nbsp;us,&nbsp;cried&nbsp;with&nbsp;us,&nbsp;and&nbsp;cheered&nbsp;us&nbsp;on. While our ceremony is just the two of us, we couldn't imagine this new chapter without including someone incredibly special&#8212;Haley&#8217;s beautiful daughter. She&#8217;s the heart of our home, the source of so much joy and laughter, and truly an extension of us both.
 
This isn't just a wedding&#8212;it's the beginning of a new family of three. And in every way that matters, she&#8217;s part of this love story too.
