Through mutual friends, these two high school sweethearts sparked a friendship that burns brighter with every passing year. Here's the story of Haley and Steve.

They met in the summer of 2009 through Steve's groomsmen Craig and Nathan. Though they started out as shy acquaintances, their relationship grew into a fiery summer love. With Haley starting her senior year of high school and Steve focusing on work, they let go of what they had together... for only a short time.

Only months later in November of 2010, it was at the Lake Elizabeth softball fields where they would eventually run into each other again, reigniting their connection and continuing from where they left off. A true example of if you love something to let it go, and if it comes back to you it was meant to be!

From then on they were inseparable, making their relationship official in April of 2011 and enjoying the next 11 years together. They moved in together in 2019, and that's when Haley knew she was ready for the next step whenever Steve would one day ask her. On September 4, 2022, he (finally) took the next big step and proposed! Their love that started as a spark now burns brighter than the sun.
