Steven had recently moved to Burns Harbor, IN after spending his life growing up in Naperville, IL and was looking for a fresh start and a new hairstylist. He decided to take the chance on going to a local Sport Clips and little did he know that would change his life & hair forever. He went on the booking website and decided to book with Haley because she had a “cute profile picture”. When he arrived, he had seen her on the cutting floor and hoped it was her he selected, and luckily it was. She was helpful and gave him a haircut and a conversation that lasted a whole hour. Soon enough he was coming in often to get his hair cleaned up by her and to catch up. Every time he would come in for a cut they would be laughing and talking about anything and everything under the sun. He had told his mom about her in the early stages of getting his haircut by her. He thought about taking a chance on asking her out, but waited for the perfect time to do so. One haircut, he finally decided he felt comfortable enough in the conversation to muster up the courage to ask her to go to the beach sometime together. She said yes and since he is partially deaf in his right ear he didn’t hear her say yes. He had thought she ignored his question and she had thought he ignored her saying yes. It made for a very awkward situation and she continued to cut his hair in silence. After the cut was over, she was thinking he would ask for her number, but he didn’t. He tipped her and left. She was so confused. He decided to take matters later in to his own hands and try to find her on social media since the message wasn’t so clear at the time of his haircut. He searched Haley A , Haley B, Haley C, and so on looking her up and hoping she would pop up on social media. He eventually found her and decided to ask her to get a coffee with him. She decided to stay as friends at that given time, but that did not stop him. He became closer to her chatting about concerts, interests, etc. and eventually asked her out to dinner to get tacos. She decided to take him up on his offer and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
