It all started back in 2019, at Illinois State University. Zach was a senior and Haley was a junior walking into their first day of Photography class. Haley was [fashionably] late to class - there was only one seat open and lucky enough for her, next to the cutest guy in class. It would be her mission for the next 2 months to figure out who this beautiful, mysterious man was. Little did she know... he would have the same objective.

Twice a week, she would get dressed up for class just to try to get a glance from him, and would come home gushing about how Cute Photography Boy 'SAID HI TODAY'! Every day she was studying the class sign-in sheet to see if she could figure out what his was name was. Then one day he shows up in a purple Joliet Junior College shirt… you know what that means? He’s from somewhere close to her home town… this was the PERFECT conversation starter!!!!

The next few months consisted of as lowkey of flirting as you could possibly imagine, until a School of Communication bar crawl was announced. “If you go, I’ll go,” was Haley’s response to Zach’s mention of it. They went... And so began their love story.
