Wedding Party

Haley and I met as freshmen on the Duquesne soccer team and I can’t figure out how I lived my life before that. From the Avatar remake video to hand dancing, there was never a dull moment when we were together. (Let’s not forget shoving our faces with cheesecake on Maggie’s floor during our first Saint Patties day freshman year oops). Haley and I have way to many inside jokes and countless memories that are unforgettable. I am beyond excited she found her man (and especially that he has accepted/put up with our weirdness). Jordan is truly Haley’s soulmate and I cannot wait to see the life they build together. I can’t wait for the wedding day and to be apart of it ! Love you Haley and Jordan!!!

5 years is a tough age difference for a pair of brothers. You were getting into sports when I could barely walk. You had your first kiss when I still thought girls were aliens. You were going into middle school when I got my first kiss(yeah, do the math.. I was a pretty cute little kid). You got your license when mom still didn’t even let me ride passenger in a car. You went off to college before I had even experienced high school. 5 years is a long time. I saw in movies how brothers are always best friends. I had friends who I was a second best friend to, only to their brothers. I wondered why we didn’t have that. I mean I loved you, and I THINK you loved me.... but it didn’t always seem like it at the time. January 2012, you invited me up to Tiffin for a weekend. Skeptical about the whole thing, I brought Nate with me. We had a blast. Everything changed that weekend. Suddenly, 5 years felt like zero. I rode home thinking it had to be a fluke. There’s no way we just had that much fun together. You mean to tell me we went a whole weekend without fighting? Wanting to kill each other? Everything changed that weekend. I no longer rolled my eyes when I heard you were coming home from college. I no longer kept my distance. And most importantly, I know longer had to worry about dashing up the stairs like a silver back gorilla in attempt to escape your chase. January 2012, we had no idea what happened. We were about to become the closest two brothers anyone’s ever seen. From that moment on, you have truly been my best friend. I shared things with you I have never thought I would tell anybody. We’ve fought, we’ve cried, we laughed, we’ve fought again.... but through it all, I gained a lifelong best friend. Our relationship has taught me a valuable life lesson that you hear all the time. The best things in life are worth waiting for. And your beautiful soon to be wife, Haley, is living proof of that as well. I’ve seen her change you in such positive ways. Ways I didn’t think possible. I know what you two have is special. I cannot wait for May 2, the day I get to watch my best friend, my brother marry the most perfect girl for him. It’s a DAY we’ll remember forever. As for the night, well I hope we don’t. ;)

As a little sister, it's challenging to adjust to the thought of sharing your older brother, but there's no one else I'd rather share him with. When I first heard Jordan talk about Haley I knew she was someone special. I had never seen Jordan light up in such a way as when he talked about all the things he loved about her and the relationship they shared. The more I've gotten to know Haley the more their relationship makes perfect sense. She has quickly become the sister I've always dreamt of and I can't wait for all the fun times and memories that lie ahead (minus our gym sessions to get ourselves wedding ready). I'm so ready to welcome this beautiful girl into our family!

When Rihanna sings “we fell in love in a hopeless place” she’s really talking about Utica NY summer of 2009.. Me and Jordan met playing in a hopeless place for a hopeless team in a hopeless league. Looking back , the sole purpose of that summer was to start an endeavor on becoming Major League Baseball players both in real life and in road to the show #hasahose. Never would have thought an innocent game of Edward 40 hands would be the quintessential ice breaker to meeting my brother from another mother. But then again white dog....Ironically he got a black lab which enjoyed drake very much from a young age. From chasing squirrels for prank props , to in the pool baseball. Whether it was knocking it out the pool, park or locals, you always had my back. Whether I was on the mound and he was at the plate some of the best highs were air fives accompanied with exclusive hand shakes. I think we watched the hangover so many times that summer without realizing instead of turning into 4 lokos we turned into 2 lokos that would play ball in Canada the following two summers. But the story doesn’t end. 4 lokos divided by 2 lokos obviously equals New Mexico, the home of many locos. So we did just that and of course we went out in style. When I mean style I mean we brawled another team and got kicked out the league. The end. Hahah jk there’s so much more. The reason why me and Jordan became brothers is for one reason. Unconditional love. It’s something we learned from our family and the game we loved playing everyday. No matter the circumstances we loved eachother. Through thick and thin we will always be brothers. I know Jordan has found that with Haley and for that reason I know this will be forever.

Jordan and I are cousins that could be considered brothers. I've looked up to Jordan since we were young and I’m very proud of what he has become. I know if I needed him for anything, he'd be there for me. Thanks for being my pool baseball teammate all those years, even though I was an automatic out. I remember my first homerun and how crazy we went afterwards, that's the day I became a man. I can't wait to see how his future with Haley unfolds and proud to call them family. I love you guys!

Haley was in my wedding last March (2018) so I'm excited that it's her turn now!! We grew up together and were next door neighbors. We were bus patrols together and were the mongoose motor-bike gang of 2! We played on the same soccer team for forever and in high school. I think my funniest memory of Haley is when we tried to start a Balmoral (our neighborhood) business and posted fliers in every mailbox asking to walk their dogs, mow grass, wash cars so that we could buy a camera together, take pictures, print them out, then put them in a journal we would swap back and forth everyday on the bus. We'd document everything we did but it was so funny because we'd be on the bus, at school, on the bus again, then soccer practice all together so our entries were the exact same hahaha but I'm so excited to meet those who I haven't yet and so excited to be a part of Hale's big day!!!

Haley and I met through SYA travel soccer back in elementary school (yes, the peace sign picture days). By fifth grade we were inseparable, playing on the same soccer team and going to school at Union Mill Elementary school...did I mention we were also in the same class? *shout out Mr. Brickwedde*. Anyways, then we went to middle school and made music videos that Haley’s brothers, Andrew and Griffin would tape for us before practice (Mrs. Yow please don’t resurface these at the wedding)!! We then, carried our friendship through high school and college, and now... Here we are, seeming like we have it together, but truly wishing we were Beyoncé back up dancers. CONGRATS HALEY AND JORDAN!

If you asked me to write about Jordan Chiero or the impact that Jordan has had on me I could write a whole book. Tough, strong, insightful, dashing, caring, graceful and bold are just a few words that come to mind. Jordan is a true Leader. My brother and I basically grew up at their house. Most people get tired of their family. Not us. Its more than cousin's. It's the bonding. Countless hours of backyard sports and road trips. I'm so happy for the future Bride and Groom. May heaven rejoice on your special day. I can't wait to see you two grow together. Cheers!

Haley was my college roommate and teammate! We met during the dreadful preseason going into our freshman year and instantly became so close. We ended up being inseparable throughout our next 4 years. I would have never survived four years of soccer and endless hours traveling without Haley’s constant humor and entertainment. We share so many memories, like getting matching tattoos right before graduation, spring break trips to Cancun and Greece, an A10 championship win, dancing around our house singing at the top of our lunges with a bottle of wine when Jordan was on his way to visit her in Pittsburgh for the first time and everything in between! I am so excited to watch her walk down the isle and marry someone who makes her so happy and I also share so many memories with; congratulations Haley and Jordan!

I refuse to give Al Alvine all the credit for Haley and I being best friends, but I’m so so glad he made the perfect decision to make us freshman year roommates at Duquesne. From the moment I met this chick, I realized she was the missing piece to my life and I’d never want to do anything without her for 4 years. I’ve never met anyone else who makes every situation way more fun and completely blissful. From getting thumb stitches at Mercy hospital to Black & White Swan Halloween 2016; from drinking Kaluah + chocolate milk for our first Pittsburgh St Patties day, to going to Hawaii and eating sand; from random nights at Jack’s by ourselves, to witches, warlocks, bees, and flies in our apartment...I’ll never forget any of it because we took so many videos and photos that can never be released to the public. Talk about freaking soulmates. Most importantly, I’m so glad I was there to encourage you to “shoot your shot” with Jordan. Although I know destiny would have found another way for you two...because of that summer, I can say I was there from the beginning. Haley, I love you to pieces and I’m so happy to be apart of your big day! Congrats to Haley and Jordan!

Jordan and I have known each other since we were about 9 years old! I was Jordan's best friends uncool little brother that tagged along everywhere they went! Ironically, our close friendship metamorphosed into a beautiful BROTHER-fly on a college road trip to visit his best friend (aka: my brother). The road trip home was actually where Jordan and I became family. We managed to turn a 1.5 hour drive into nearly 6 hours. How you may ask?? Two dead phones, no car GPS, many wrong turns, terrible advice from very questionable people, two stubborn egos, me saying "I know exactly where we are", empty gas tanks, and then more wrong turns. Most friends would be at each other's throats by the end, but I can't think of a single minute where we weren't laughing, telling jokes, reminiscing, or just being in the moment. Jordan and I became roommates post college life for a short while. Not because we didn't get along (I'd probably move back in with him if Haley would allow it) but because he knew from the moment they met he wanted to begin his new life with the girl of his dreams. I am incredibly happy for them both and excited to be apart of their lives!

Jordan and i met as 10 year olds heading towards 11 as teammates on a summer baseball team. We did not go to the same elementary or middle schools but i considered him my best friend thru those years anyways. After our first summer as 11 yr old summer baseball teammates I remember inviting him over before the next school year started . my parents went to go pick him up and came back "without him." I was on the verge of crying when he snuck in thru the back door. He had faked me out and recruited my parents as co criminals as an 11 year old. Me, almost crying for not getting to hang out with him and him leading my parents thru a prank at 11 pretty much describes Jordan as a person. I consider myself a very lucky person for Jordan being the life of the party wanting to hang out with an introverted shy country kid. In my view, Haley is a little more like myself and gets to spend the rest of her life with her/my best friend who complements her perfectly. Safe to say I'm pretty jealous but could not be happier for both of them!

I have known Haley since our union Mill elementary school days. We always ran in the same circle but it wasn’t until high school that Haley and I became close. No matter where we live or how long we go without seeing each other Haley is always someone that can make me cry from laughing so hard. Her quirky sense of humor and genuine heart make her one of a kind. I am so happy that she has found her partner in Jordan and I cannot wait to see the life that they build together!

Haley and I go way back to the days of being wee elementary school kids, but didn’t become good friends until high school. Once we were on the soccer team together and the same sports marketing class it was like the stars aligned; I finally found someone weirder than me! Much of our friendship was built on watching weird horror films in class and adding to our elaborate hand dance routine (get a few drinks in us and it might make a debut during the reception). I’m so happy that Haley found her other half and excited to celebrate her & Jordan!
