How do I get to Italy??
Our #1 question so far (rightfully so, it can be a lot)! The airports you can fly into are Rome-FCO (Leonardo da Vinci- Fiumicino Airport), Pisa- PSA (Pisa International Airport), Florence- FLR (Amerigo Vespucci Airport), or Milan-MXP (Malpensa International Airport).
Which airport do you suggest flying into?
Rome-FCO, Pisa-PSA, or Florence-FLR. These are the closer options, but it all depends on which city you would like to explore on your vacation and what you would like to spend on a flight, as they all have different costs.
What dates should I book my flights for?
We will be flying into Rome on October 31st. As of right now, flights are reasonably priced with departure dates between October 29th and November 1st. Just keep in mind the time difference, you will arrive the next day with the time change. I don't want to tell you when to leave, so mess around with the return dates to see what works best for you!:)
What should I do about transportation when I get there?
You can take a train for around $15-50 depending on which city you fly into, to a train station in Perugia. The closest station to the venue is Perugia Silvestrini. You can then take a taxi to your accommodation/ the venue.
Another option would be to rent a car at the airport you fly into. The drive to Perugia ranges from about 2 hours- 5 hours (5 hours being from the further airport in Milan). I have seen rental cars starting around $100 and up, for a week rental. They do have rental car company's that we are familiar with here in the U.S. THIS IS WHAT WE WILL BE DOING.
Some train stations in Perugia have rental car company's as well, if you want to take the train to Perugia and then get a car there.
When should I head over to Perugia, if I am vacationing before the wedding?
We recommend travelling to Perugia November 4th, the day before the wedding, and booking your stay from November 4th- November 6th or 7th.
What is the weather like in Perugia in November?

What is there to do in Perugia?
You can go visit different wineries, take cooking classes, go on guided hiking tours or venture off on your own to explore the city. There is a lot of beauty to see in this town!
Where should I stay the week of the wedding?
We have several hotels/Airbnb's listed under the travel section of the website that are nearby the venue.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
You can either rent a car or take a taxi. If you decide to take a taxi plan ahead of time, it is a smaller city so they do have to be booked in advance.
What is the dress code?
We are requiring that all guests please wear all black formal attire.
Can I bring my kids/a date?
We will only be allowing the guests that we have listed on your invitation, this goes for kids as well.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the time listed on the invitation so we can ensure everyone has arrived and we can start on time.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are not allowing pictures to be taken during the ceremony. We have a photographer that will be getting plenty of pictures!
Will food and drinks be served?
We will be having an appetizer buffet with many options, then a table service with a few courses, as well as a dessert buffet. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for drinks.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?
