Our Wedding

It all started with a high school setup—thanks to a scheming stepsister and a longtime best friend. Our first date was a local hockey game that turned into bowling, then Waffle House—because why end a perfect night early? We spent high school cheering each other on from the sidelines, then braved the long-distance life while chasing our dreams—her at the University of Georgia studying public relations, and him playing ball and studying agriculture business at Andrew College. Eventually, love (and a transfer to Emmanuel University) brought us back to the same city, and we’ve been building a life together in Athens ever since. In December 2024, outside the Rivet House Hotel under the mistletoe, he got down on one knee—and she said yes to forever. By the time we say “I do” on April 11, 2026, we’ll be celebrating 10 years of love, laughter, and late-night Waffle House runs. We can’t wait to begin our next chapter—together. 🤍

All reservations must be confirmed in order to secure a guest room at the discounted rate. Any rooms in the block that have not been reserved by 3/11/26 will be released back to the hotel and available at regular price. Standard check-in is at 4:00 pm ET, but we have arranged an early check-in for the wedding party for 2:00 pm ET. This should already be on the City Mills site, but it would be best if you note it when booking your reservation.
