We have made a commitment to give tzedakah/charity in honor of our wedding. We are especially aware that our wedding is taking place just before the first anniversary of the horrifying events in Israel on October 7, 2023. Especially at this time, it is important to us to support the people of Israel, and we invite you to join us and donate in honor of our marriage. We’ve chosen two specific organizations who do work that is close to our hearts:

The Associated of Baltimore has just launched a campaign to raise funds for the Israel Trauma Coalition Resilience Center in Ashkelon, Baltimore’s partner city in Israel. Your donation will directly support the Israel Trauma Resilience Center, helping individuals and families recover and rebuild in the aftermath of trauma. The Associated is collecting the money and 100% of the donation will be directed to the Resiliency Center.

The Reform Movement in Israel (IMPJ) is responding to the urgent needs of people in Israel – Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike. In response to the military and human emergency in Israel, the Israel Reform Movement is mobilizing aid to those directly affected who need immediate assistance due to the impact of October 7th and the current war.
