On Thursday, November 9, 2023, we matched on Hinge. When Neil asked Hallie if she knew Ariana and mentioned that she was his cousin, Hallie immediately screenshotted the message and sent it to Ariana. Ariana replied right away, saying Neil was the nicest guy—which only made Hallie more excited to meet him.We met up the very next day for our first date at Ocean Sushi (Neil’s first—and so far only—time trying sushi). From that moment on, they were inseparable. After spending countless days together, Neil met Hallie’s family on New Year’s Eve, and Hallie met Neil’s family on January 6. That night, Neil asked Hallie to be his girlfriend.Throughout the past two years, we’ve shared so many memories—date nights, sporting events, trips to Jellystone with Neil’s family, and Lake Geneva with Hallie’s family. On May 3, Neil proposed to Hallie in front of a waterfall, making the perfect moment even more magical.This past summer, Hallie moved in with Neil, and in November, we got another dog, Bandit, making us a family of four.
