Our Wedding

In 2018, Hallie began her first day as a social work intern at a high school in Brooklyn, she was terrified to work with older kids, but optimistic and excited to move forward towards a meaningful career. As she stepped into the cafeteria, David greeted her, he was dressed in all black, and had a warm and comforting demeanor that put her at ease. Hallie decided she didn’t like him, after having terrible supervisors in the past. Despite the high school being a tough place to work, Hallie didn’t want the year to end and even stayed late once to help David clean out the disgusting office mini fridge. Every day that Hallie and David got the chance to spend time together, there was an undeniable spark. Conversations came easily, and they were always laughing about something ( and still are). During a walk six years ago in Prospect Park, Hallie and David spoke about looking for someone who is a “best friend that you are also in love with”, which is what they are today.
