When is the deadline to RSVP?
Please RSVP for the walima by October 18th, 2024 so we can determine a final headcount for seating and catering. After this date, the RSVP form will no longer be available. ***Please keep in mind that invites are limited to the number of names indicated on your invitation.***
How many people can I bring?
Please limit your guests to the names/number strictly listed on your invitation. For safety and security purposes, our venue has strict policies on maximum capacity, and we will not be able to seat more than the designated invited guests. Thank you!
What should I wear?
Dress code is formal/conservative - for men, suits and ties, and for women, formal shalwar khameez / long dress.
Hotel Block / Lodging Availability?
We have a room block reserved at Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas/Frisco North-FieldhouseUSA (eight minute drive from the venue) for November 21, 2024 through November 26, 2024. When and where will the walima be?
WHEN: Friday, November 22nd, 7 PM - 11 PM. // WHERE: Verona Villa in Frisco, TX (6591 Dallas Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034).
What does the program look like?
Soon after the reception starts, the bride and groom will enter together. There will be brief welcoming remarks, followed by Quran recitation and speeches. Food will then be served and guests can take photos with the bride and groom as time permits. Soon after, there will be cake cutting, then traditional dances performed by friends and famiy before the event ends.
What type of food will be served at the walima?
Halal Indian/Pakistani food will be served at the event. We will also have vegetarian options available.
Will there be parking at the venue?
There will be free parking at the venue.
What should I bring as a wedding gift?
Your presence is more than appreciated - however, if you'd like to sponsor our future fund, cash gifts are welcome.
Will there be alcohol served at the event?
There will be no alcohol served at the event.
How far are airports from the venue?
There are two primary options - Dallas Lovefield (DAL), and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Both are roughly 25-30 minutes away from the venue. Although this event is the weekend before Thanksgiving, please keep in mind there will likely be increased holiday travel traffic.

Downtown is home to Reunion Tower, the Museum of Art, and the World Aquarium.
