WHEN SHOULD WE RSVP BY?
Please RSVP by July 15, 2025.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?
The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm. We ask that guests arrive 20-30 minutes before so that everyone can be seated on time.
Where should we park?
We have reserved a parking lot of 45 spaces for our guests to use. Please see the dress code and location tab for more details!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The entire venue is wheelchair accessible.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
St. James 1868 is a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue. Our ceremony, dinner and dancing will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting).
Are children welcome?
As much as we love your children and little ones, we want everyone to be able to celebrate with us and enjoy a date night on us. Due to capacity limitations at our venue, we are requesting no children at our wedding.
Am i allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones, cameras, and other devices be turned off or on silent during the ceremony. We hired the most amazing photographer and videographer. We would hate to have a phone or camera in the way of their shot. After the ceremony please take as many pictures as you would like. We promise to share all the professional photos and videos with you.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our guests dressed up with us in formal or black tie attire.
Can i bring a guest/date?
While we would love to have everyone attend, due to capacity limitations at our venue we are only able to accommodate those named on your invitation/RSVP. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the bride and groom directly.
What if i have a food allergy and/or dietary restriction?
When using our website to RSVP, it will prompt you with a question regarding any food allergies/restrictions. Please answer the prompts accordingly.
What is the dinner menu?
We will be serving a plated meal with a vegetarian option as well. Entree choices will be updated after invitations have been sent out. Please specify in your RSVP which option you would like, as well as any dietary restrictions/allergies.
Late night food will be a taco/nacho bar from Hana’s family’s restaurant Beanies Mexican Restaurant.
When do i need to reserve the hotel room block by?
Please see the Accommodations tab. Hotel reservations for the room block need to be made before July 31, 2025. Reservations can be made by calling Marriot Central Reservations 888-236-2427 and referencing the “Christiansen/Scott Wedding Room Block” or by utilizing the booking link under the Accomodations tab.
Will there be transportation to/from the venue?
We will have a shuttle at the end of the night taking guests to The Trade Hotel!
