If you know Tyler and I at all, you know that we are both die hard Texas Tech fans. We both attended and graduated from Texas Tech University, yet we didn't meet in college. We met about 6 months after I graduated in Dallas after the Baylor vs. Texas Tech football game at AT&T stadium.

About a month later, my friend Mallory and I went to a bar named Renfields in Dallas to hangout with a guy she was talking to named Bobby. Bobby was one of Tyler's current roommates. Tyler and I ran into each other and hit it off. After that night, we talked every day for a while until we finally saw each other again. Our first date was a double date with Mallory and Bobby at a movie eatery named Alamo Drafthouse where we watched That Awkward Moment. Of course, a movie with Zac Efron. ;)

Our first real date was for Valentine's Day. Tyler asked me to go to a nice restaurant by the American Airlines Center called Victory Tavern. Every Valentine's Day since that, we've gone to the same restaurant to eat.

If you talk to any of my friends, they will tell you that they never thought I'd find someone to put up with my crazy/weirdness...until they met Tyler.
