Our Wedding

We first met on Friday, June 30th, 2023, at the Outlaw Music Festival. It was on the lawn of Dos Equis Pavilion. Hayden was there with his sister, Olivia, and his friends, Pierce and Katie. Hanna, despite some disapproval from family, went alone. We were both there to see Willie Nelson perform live for the first time. As luck would have it, just after the opening acts had wrapped and before Willie took the stage, both of us stepped away at the same time for a quick break. On the way back from the porta-potties, we met in the crowd. We struck up a conversation, and Hanna invited herself to join Hayden’s group for the rest of the show. Less than a week later, on the Fourth of July, we decided to become exclusive. From that point on, we were rarely apart. On January 19th, 2025, we went back to the spot where we watched fireworks on our first date and Hayden asked me to marry him.
