Our Wedding

Our story is one we love telling! Hanna &amp; Ben met at the University of Denver in 2018 while pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing. They sat next to each other on the first day of classes. Hanna played on the DU women's lacrosse team, so she lit up when she saw her classmate wearing a DU Rugby t-shirt. Wanting to befriend another athlete, she asked, "Are you using your last year of eligibility to play at DU?" Ben replied, "Yeah. But I've been on the team for 4 years..." Then turned back to his notes, not in the mood for small talk. Instead of taking the hint, Hanna told her friends, "I'm going to crack open Ben Jones's shell." Over time, Ben &amp; Hanna took on many group projects, fell into the same friend group, and became each other's best friend. In the spring, Hanna &amp; Ben attended a class trip to SXSW, where lots of conversation (and several Lemon Splash cocktails) led them to realize how much they have in common. A few weeks later, Ben asked Hanna to be his date to the annual DU Rugby Alumni event. Hanna got to meet Ben's friends, and ride the tidal wave of a Rugby team get together. After many laughs &amp; drinks, Ben pulled Hanna aside and asked, "Will you be my boyfriend?" (Yes, boyfriend). After some confusion, excitement set in, and she said "...yep!" Fast forward 6 years, Hanna &amp; Ben own their first house in Denver, where they got engaged in the backyard while sharing their first meal in their new home. We look forward to celebrating with you on the summer solstice 2025!

Can I drive & park at the Dolphin Cove Pavillion?

Yes, street parking will be available on a first come first serve basis, and limited to one side of the street. Dolphin Cove is a private residential community, please be respectful of parking rules.Please let us know if you will be driving ahead of time.

How should I get to Stamford, CT?

If you're flying in, we recommend grabbing an Uber, taxi, or carpooling. From closer major cities, there are lots of train options to Stamford. The Stamford train station is just minutes from all the action! See the "Travel" section for more details.

Where should I stay?

You can book a room in our block of rooms in the hotels listed in the "Travel" section. There are also Airbnb options. For those coming from local areas, we ask that you stay overnight if you plan to have a few drinks to celebrate.

May I bring kids to the wedding?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children. Thank you for your understanding.
