As many of you know, Jacob and I have been together since we were 15 & 16 years old. We met at Camp Omega church retreat. It didn’t take long for Jacob to ask me to be his girlfriend. We dated throughout our high school years and even made long distance work after I moved to Colorado my junior year of high school. Jacob started college at UND in Grand Forks my senior year of high school. I decided to follow him out there after graduation. During our college years we changed majors, met lifelong friends and even worked together at the hotel. In May 2020 we both graduated, we didn’t get to walk due to the pandemic. We lived with Jacob’s parents for awhile after college. We got/moved our first house in late 2020 and moved in Memorial Day 2021. Then on August 17th, 2022, after 9 years and 5 months Jacob finally asked me to marry him!
