The town of Scituate is quaint and coastal. The main street has cute boutiques, bars, and restaurants. There is also a lighthouse to check out! Fun fact: Scituate is the most Irish town per capita in America.
If you plan on spending some time in Boston, here are some of our favorite areas & things to do:
Boston Harbor: waterfront.
Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall: restaurants, shopping, and history.
Seaport District: a redeveloped part of South Boston. Lots of shopping and restaurants!
The North End: the historic part of the city. This is where you can find some incredible Italian food. You'll also have to check out Kevin's favorite Irish bar, The Black Rose.
Plymouth is a waterfront city between Scituate and Cape Cod with lots of restaurants and shopping. It is also home to Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower! This is one of Hanna's favorite places in Massachusetts.
If you plan on extending your trip, we recommend checking out Cape Cod for some relaxation and beach action.
Your trip to the East Coast won't be complete until you try: a lobster roll (hot or cold!), "bah" pizza, New England clam chowder, and some Honey Dew coffee (way better than Dunkin' Donuts, in our opinion).
