What do I need to know about Mountain Happy Hour?

Mountain Happy Hours is open to kids and adults! Gondola tickets must be purchased online ($30 or complimentary with active Ikon Pass).

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Colorado Cocktail / Western Chic: think cocktail attire but add some Western flair with boots, hats, bandanas, or a bolo tie.

Is there parking available at the Welcome Party?

Yes, complimentary parking is available at Steamboat Square Parking Garage

Address 2307 Mt Werner Circle.

(1) Go to garage marked P1 (Not the one at the main entrance of the Grand, but the next one)

(2) Type in code 9309.

(3) Park your car, then find a payment kiosk.

(4) Enter your license plate number.

(5) Find event name (Sams Ross Wedding) or press 5 for more options.

(6) Parking is from 11 am Friday until 11 am Saturday.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Yes parking will be available. Please let us know if you'll be driving yourselves!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

We request that guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the official ceremony start time to allow for seating.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

There will be a private shuttle bus available leaving from two central locations near the ski village and town to Catamount Lake House. Return shuttles will also be available. If you're driving yourself, please ensure you're entering the address above or searching Catamount LAKE House, as the wedding is NOT being held at the golf course.

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

We love your kids, however, due to limited venue capacity, adults only please. You could use the night off!

What is the dress code for the Ceremony / Reception?

Black Tie Optional: we ask that men wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie, and women wear an evening gown or mid-length or knee-length cocktail dress.

Will the ceremony / reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on a tented lawn.

What will the weather be like?

Colorado mountain summers generally have very nice weather. Typical afternoons are in the 80s, with temperatures dropping into the 60s later into the evening.
