Way back in the time of high school and junior high Jonathan and Hanna met. They started as classmates who passed each other in the halls. As time grew the friendship bloomed. Toward the end of high school, they texted and messaged each other daily. Out of school, they enjoyed going to rodeos, and events at the local county fair, and John even helped out at Hanna's family farm. Hanna went off to college and John finished his last year of high school. This time is where their story changed.

October 27, 2024, John told Hanna let's go for a drive to see all the leaves changing color and enjoy the fall weather in Iowa. John stopped the car at a nature outlook in Balltown, Iowa. John told Hanna she just had to see the hills of fall-colored trees and cattle from this one spot. As Hanna was looking out at nature John told her to turn around where he was on one knee asking her to marry him and start their next big adventure. Fall will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are grateful to be surrounded by friends and family on our special day and to make more fall memories in October 2025.
