Our Wedding

Ky and Hannah met at the North Grand Mall in Ames, Iowa at the end of Ky's junior year and Hannah's sophomore year of high school. Ky and Hannah became friends and stayed in contact through social media. Hannah moved to Arizona that summer. Ky became one of Hannah's biggest supporters while her younger brother battled cancer. Hannah expressed to Ky that she liked him and wanted to be more than just friends, however, Ky was not interested....at first. Hannah and Ky started to talk to each other more regularly and eventually stayed up till 2am flirting on the phone together. Ky eventually told Hannah that he had never felt like this about a girl before and told her "I'm going to marry you, that's final." The two of them began dating in November 2019 and ultimately entered a 5 year long distance relationship. After finishing nursing school, Hannah moved back to Iowa in July 2024. Ky proposed to Hannah at The Greater Des Moines Botanical Gardens on October 11, 2024. Spoiler alert: She said yes! You're all up to speed! Our story is simple yet incredibly unique. Starting out as high school/college sweethearts, we have since grown up together and realize how God crafted every detail of our story. We thank all of our friends &amp; family for helping us get to this point and are excited to start a new chapter of our lives: marriage!
