Connor and I met at Illinois College. I was a freshman and he was a senior. My best friend at the time and Connor were RA's in the same building, so Connor and I knew of each other the entire year. However, it wasn't until two weeks before he graduated that we really connected. I signed up for a Breakaway to Cuba and had a meeting regarding the trip. Connor was at the meeting to talk to us about what to expect on our Breakaway. After the meeting, Connor asked if I'd like to see more photos from his trips to Cuba. We spent a couple of hours in my best friends room talking and looking at the photos before we eventually got kicked out so she could go to bed. We sat in the lobby of his dorm talking until 2 in the morning and the rest is history.
