Katie has played several roles in my life. She's been my baby sitter, my pen pal, my role model, my cheerleader, and one of my closest friends. Our friendship has transcended multiple state lines and even a continent. Our relationship has definitely changed throughout the years but she's always been by side and has always been supportive of Nick and I. I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without her. Eliza has also played several roles in my life. She's been my baby sitter, my summer pool driver, my outfit inspiration, my running buddy, and one of my closest friends. But really, I did steal a lot of her clothes growing up and yes, we absolutely bawled in the middle of Oakland when she left for college. It's been an absolute joy watching my close friend become a mom and visiting my niece and nephew. She has wholeheartedly embraced Nick as a family member and I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without her support. Love ya sis!

It all started when Emily's mom forced her to bring extra invitations for her birthday party in case some awkward kid was hanging around while passing them out to her real friends. Guess who was that awkward kid. From calculator races in middle school to cross country races in high school, Emily and I have always kind of overlapped throughout our school days and it resulted in a great friendship that lasted college and now lasts long distance. Emily's been there since the beginning for me and coincidentally also the beginning of Nick and I. Can't imagine the big day without her!

If Emily has been there since the beginning, Gloria has realllllly been there since the beginning. Gloria and I met when I declared us to be best friends on probably the first day of kindergarten. Gloria was my best pal all throughout our school days and introduced me to the magic that is french onion dip and potato chips during our sleepovers. Nick and I visited Gloria on our first long distance trip, and despite her and her husband's many attempts, no, we will not be moving to Kentucky. Can't imagine my big day without her! P.S. We desperately need a new photo together...

Finally! A friend not made in elementary school! The story of Paige and I meeting is she came along on a fundraiser trip, she challenged me to eat more pizza than I could handle, a week later we agreed to be college roommates. Sometimes it's that simple. I could always rely on Paige for a laugh in college and I still rely on her for a laugh even across the country. She definitely treated Nick to our typical college experience when they first met in Denver. Thanks for standing by my side buddy!

Majority of the time growing up, Andy was in his room that he did NOT have to share with 2 other siblings. Can't blame the guy. But during the other moments, Andy was playing piano, taking walks in the woods, and absolutely destroying me in video games. Andy always made me feel included even when I desperately wanted him to stop trying to teach me (#payteachersmore). Nick and I never know when Andy might pop over for an art day or just for a hello. Andy's talent for the piano has always been evident and I am so happy he'll be able to play Nick and I down the aisle on our wedding day. I am just glad Nick has found someone to talk to about boring, old outer space (#saveourplanet).
