Hannah and Chad met in August of 2019 at Auburn University. Chad was a senior and Hannah was a freshman. She came up to him at a fraternity party and immediately showcased her brilliant personality and he was struck by the confidence and the humor she had. After that moment, Chad would regularly call her on the phone to just "check in". Though secretly there were definitely sparks in the air.

Their relationship continued to grow as friends as they both served in the local church and were in the same ministry area. It was further affirmation to them that God was continuing to cross their paths. After attending a high school football game to support the students they led, Chad asked her on their first date.

The first date was at the botanical gardens in Atlanta, GA. It didn't last long because Chad took a job in sales that moved him to Georgia. After nine months, God called him back to Auburn, AL to step into full-time ministry, and Hannah was still attending the church where he worked. Once they reconnected, the feelings picked up right where they had left off. The two gave it another chance and had another first date. Hannah was a senior at Auburn navigating the ending of a special season, and Chad was beginning a transition into a new role. They dated four months and broke up for a SECOND time in December of 2022.

In these days, they worked and did life close to each other which was not easy, but it was definitely a season of singleness that they both needed to navigate the emotional and spiritual maturing. For eighteen months they remained separated until they rejoined for the final time in April of 2024. From that moment, the Lord had prepared their hearts for a healthy relationship that they both knew they had a forever best friend.

On September 27, 2024, Chad proposed to the love of his life. Hannah happily said yes and they began the season of engagement. This story is a testimony of trials, patience, and relentless pursuit that they would both say is a reflection to their stories with Christ. These two are no stranger to a good time and are excited to begin this next chapter as a couple that is committed to the advancement of God's kingdom.
