Spencer's first day @ Lifespace!

Spencer and Hannah applied for the same position: Community Accountant, however, on Spencer's first day he was told he was going to be a Treasury Analyst instead... ): They were unfortunately split up into different departments right away.

For months AND MONTHS, very little progress is made between the two.

Spencer was always heads down, headphones in, YouTube videos on, man of very few words.

Hannah was always fairly loud, obnoxious, and aiming to be the biggest clown in the office, wondering when Spencer would notice her.

MARCH 2024

Spencer is finally able to start his intended job as a Community Accountant. By now, Hannah has mastered the position and is able to teach him all the tips and tricks. Spencer nervously approaches her desk to ask for help. Hannah loves when he stops by. &lt;3

APRIL 1, 2024

They quickly learn they have had a mutual crush on each other all along. They waste no time and arrange their first date immediately. They grab dinner and drinks over an Iowa Basketball game. They did not watch a single second of that game.

On their one-year anniversary of dating, Spencer shocks Hannah with a proposal!! Spencer could not go another day without putting a ring on it. Hannah claimed a surprise would not be possible to pull off, but she stands corrected. This was the most surreal day of their lives thus far. Excited is an understatement!!

They head back to the bowling alley where this all started for old times' sake. Hannah didn't win this time, she was a bit distracted.

Spencer and Hannah are eager to spend forever together. They look forward to having you be a part of their special day!

What is the dress code?

We’d love for you to dress up with us! Semi-formal or cocktail attire is preferred.For the ladies: cocktail dresses, pantsuits or dressy separatesFor the gents: suits, sport coats or long-sleeve button-up with a tie and dress pantsAttire to avoid: denim/jeans, athletic wear, tennis shoes

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We welcome guests to arrive starting at 3:30 PM. To ensure a smooth start, we ask that everyone arrive and be seated by 3:50 PM for our 4:00 PM ceremony.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will be outdoors with a scenic view! Afterwards, guests are invited to enjoy cocktail hour on the outdoor patio before we head indoors for dinner, drinks and dancing!

Are children invited?

We adore your little ones, but we are requesting that only family members bring children. We hope you can enjoy a fun night out celebrating with us, and we truly appreciate any arrangements you’re able to make. Let us know if you have any conflicts!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Please contact Hannah if you have a plus‑one in mind who is not already listed on the RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate!
