Our Story
It was love at 3rd margarita. Isn't that how the saying goes? Well, one Wednesday night in January 2018 (Wednesday 31st to be exact), Hannah and Sam were both at Illegal Pete's, of course. That's where everyone spent their Wednesdays. Hannah saw Sam from across the room and decided this was the night she would talk to him. With some help from the margs. She went over and introduced herself and the rest is history.
March 10, 2018
In March, 2018, 3 weeks after they 'officially' started dating (Sam told his family that they had been dating for 6 months), Sam took Hannah to a family wedding up in Canada. Carter and Macy were supposed to come but... they bailed day of. Womp womp.
June 09, 2018
Hannah and Sam graduated from the University of Denver in 2018. Then, Sam moved back to Bozeman and Hannah stayed in Denver and they continued their relationship, long-distance style.

Even though Hannah and Sam were living in different states, they continued to travel and spend time outdoors together.
July 13, 2019
In May of 2019, Hannah quit her job and moved up to Bozeman to move in with Sam. Two weeks after she moved up there, he left her!!!! And was sent to live in Bellingham, WA, by his job. This is a photo from hiking in Bellingham - just imagine Mt. Rainier behind them in the fog.

In November of 2019, Sam and Hannah moved out to San Francisco! They lived right downtown and were able to explore the city, hike, and bike.... until covid.

In May of 2020, Sam got Hannah the puppy for her birthday (every girl's dream) which everyone knows as Finn. Finn loves everything that Sam and Hannah do, including camping, biking, skiing, and not sitting still.

Sam and Hannah moved back to Colorado! They moved into a triplex in Baker, got Finn his own yard, and spent all of their time outside.

In April, Sam and Hannah bought a house in north Denver (their rental was infested with mice.... yikes), and got their dog a dog and named her Greta!

Fast forward a little bit, and some things calmed down after all the changes of the new house and new pup. They were able to spend time skiing, hiking, biking, camping, and traveling as the world opened up a little more.

Throughout the years, Sam and Hannah spent their birthdays with their friends, typically in the mountains, and usually accidentally matching.

They've been through lots of hairstyles together, including the good and the... not so good.
January 30, 2024
In January, Sam and Hannah took their first international trip together to Japan, with many more in the future.

And in September, they took their second international trip together, to Italy, and that's why we're all here!
