How we met...

Patrick and Hannah met during the Pandemic in July 2020...what a year to start dating! With no "normal" option of going for a meal or to the cinema, Hannah & Patrick met for walks, take-away coffee dates and even managed a dip or two in the sea.

As Patrick's life revolves around sport... most importantly golf, Hannah booked herself some golf lessons at a local club, so not to be left behind! Early golf dates included 6 holes at the Skerries of Royal Portrush and Hannah's favourite new activity of mini-golf.

Holidays had to wait a little while but they managed a trip to Scotland and a well-organised staycation for Hannah's 30th in N.I. Once travelling abroad was possible, they took advantage and managed to enjoy swimming in some warmer seas.

The proposal

Patrick proposed to Hannah on the 1st of July 2022 in the sand dunes at Castlerock (the exact spot is pictured on our wedding website homepage), the most perfect location. Hannah & Patrick's relationship has been centred around the sea with many beach walks and sea swims accounted for... in all weather!

An amazing celebration took place after the proposal, all thanks to Patrick's planning. Firstly a relaxing stay at the Galgorm, followed by celebrations with family! Patrick arranged for our siblings to fly home for the surprise celebration, which made the weekend all the more special.

What we are up to now...

Hannah and Patrick live in Belfast off the Lisburn road with their cat Juno; a very loved & spoilt tabby cat, who made herself at home after being rescued as a kitten. Patrick had no choice but to welcome her in.

Once all the wedding celebrations are over, Hannah and Patrick are jetting off on their honeymoon to South Africa. They plan to explore Cape Town, sample ALL the wine in Franschhoek, see the 'Big 5' on safari and finish off relaxing on the beaches of the Seychelles. A holiday of a lifetime, in a dream location!
