Our wedding will be a formal event & we are requesting our guests to wear black attire. What does this look like? Ladies think more of a formal black dress, print on it is totally fine as long as majority of the dress is black! Gentleman think black pants, long sleeve white/black button down, black tie, suit coat optional! We are really just looking for a cohesive look :) Feel free to reach out to Michael or myself with any questions!

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and would love for you to be in the moment as we say "I do." After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you please!

The ceremony will begin at 1:30pm. Please arrive no later than 1:15pm as the church doors will close at 1:20pm.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will be on your invitation, as well as under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

In order to allow all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adult only occasion. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Of course! Beer & wine will be provided all night. We will have two signature drinks, on us, during cocktail hour. Poplar Hall is a cashless venue, so please bring your debit/credit cards if you are wanting something else! Cash tips are accepted by the bartenders.

As we have requested our guests to attend in black attire, we recognize that could be very hot in early September. Both our ceremony, and reception will be inside. If you wish, there is an outdoor patio along the Fox River to enjoy at Poplar Hall!
