Braden and Hannah started dating during their freshman year of high school back in 2017, but after a few months, they decided it was better to stay friends for the time being.
Fast forward to 2020, and their connection started to spark again. A big moment came when they found their "Letters to Our Senior Selves" from freshman year, which helped reignite their friendship.
In August 2020, Braden headed off to college at The University of Alabama. Before he left, they agreed that long distance wasn’t the best idea. But by October, when Hannah visited her friend Emily in Alabama, they realized they couldn’t ignore their feelings anymore. That trip led to Braden asking Hannah to be his girlfriend on December 2, 2020, and she happily said yes!
For the next year, they navigated the challenges of long distance between California and Alabama. Then, when Hannah moved to Nashville, it brought them closer—though they were still apart. In 2022, Hannah felt a strong pull to move to Alabama, and it turned out to be the best decision she could make. With no distance between them, their love grew, and it was clear that marriage was on the horizon.
They decided to wait until they graduated and found full-time jobs before taking that next step. On October 12, 2024, Braden popped the question, and Hannah said YES!
With help from Hannah's friends, Braden planned a surprise engagement party that turned into a night they’ll always treasure. The couple is so in love and excited to start this new chapter together. They’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported them along the way and can’t wait to share their lives!
