I guess you could say this was all meant to be. Corey has been in a hunting club with my dad for years and I conveniently moved in right next door to Corey’s dad and step-mom a few years ago. We had never spoken a word to each other until I was asked to drive him and a buddy of his home, after they had been drinking and I was over there eating oysters with my dad. We saw a shooting star on our way home and had a debate on whether it was a shooting star or falling star. After taking him home, we both decided to look up shooting star vs falling star, to see who was right. Turns out we were both right, but while looking it up, I saw that when you see a shooting star, it means new beginnings, good luck, and positive changes. Shortly after this, Corey somehow found his way into asking me on a date and then the rest is history.
