Our story began on a ski trip to Sunapee and Stowe in December 2021. What Hannah thought was simply a day trip to join her friend Tessa and her group of friends turned into a spontaneous weekend ski trip when John's friend Riley invited Hannah to join the group and stay at his place in Queechee, VT. We hit it off on that ski trip, splitting a Hawaiin Pizza and an order of Buffalo Tenders and exchanging phone numbers at the Matterhorn during what could be considered to be our first date.

Hannah was smitten when John called her up the next day to tell her how much fun he had getting to know her. John was impressed by Hannah's fun-loving spontaneity (and her helmet hair!) and we have been together ever since! Hannah and John bonded over shared interests in skiing, riding bikes, boogie boarding, fitness, live-music, and anything done in the great outdoors. The Cashin family eagerly welcomed John into the crew and the Hebert family embraced Hannah as well, making us both feel right at home as we built our relationship together.

Since we first met, we have made many special memories skiing together across New England, in Utah, and in Canada. Fittingly, we got engaged at Cannon Mountain in Franconia, New Hampshire in March of 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

Our love continues to grow deeper every day and will certainly be full of fun adventures, teamwork, laughs, and hopefully hundreds of ski days, bike rides, and iced coffees. We are so excited to take the next step in building our family and our life together and we are honored to have our loved ones to help us celebrate.
