In the fall of their last year at Oakland University, Seth and Hannah's paths crossed, marking the beginning of a journey neither of them could have fully anticipated. They became friends quickly, hanging out with their friends and passing each other on their way to softball and baseball practice. Their friendship quickly turned into something more, and they began dating in early spring of 2022.

Their relationship began to blossom, but just as their connection was deepening, life threw them a curveball. Seth moved back home to Arkansas for the summer, while Hannah stayed in Michigan, focused on her full-time job at a courthouse in Michigan. Despite the distance, they found ways to bridge the gap, their bond growing stronger with every conversation and visit. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.

Seth returned to Michigan in the fall of 2022 to pursue his passion for coaching baseball at their alma mater. They continued to strengthen their relationship, because once again, they faced the challenge of long-distance when Seth took a coaching position in Wisconsin for that next summer. Each separation tested them, but their commitment never wavered. They supported each other's dreams, celebrated each other's successes, and found joy in the moments they could share.

Fall of 2023 marked a new chapter. They moved into their first apartment together, a space that became their sanctuary filled with laughter, love, and the occasional mischief of their beloved cat, Charli. It was in this new home that they began to build their life together more tangibly. They could see the long distance seasons of their relationship were finally over.

Their careers soared in tandem with their personal growth. Seth landed his dream job as a teacher and head coach of a high school varsity baseball team. Under his leadership, the program transformed into a winning force, a testament to his dedication and passion. Meanwhile, Hannah achieved her dream of becoming a court recorder, finding fulfillment in a job that mirrored her love for precision and detail.

The culmination of their journey came in April 2024. In a place that held deep significance for them - a spot where Seth had once promised they would be together forever - he asked Hannah to marry him. The proposal was a beautiful reminder of their unwavering commitment and the dreams they had built together.

Their story is a testament to resilience, love, and the joy of growing together. From the college days of Oakland University, to the promise of a future filled with endless possibilities. They are grateful for every step they've taken and every challenge they've overcome. Here's to the next chapter of their lives!
