What is the dress code?

The dress code is "Beach Cocktail" attire. Please refrain from wearing white, cream, ivory or colors close to those to allow the bride to stand out on her special day. The ceremony will be outside, oceanfront, and the reception will be indoors. The temperature in South Carolina in May varies between 65 and 82 degrees. While we are hoping for a sunny, 75-degree day, you never know what to expect in the state of South Carolina!

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to accommodate everyone's plus ones, we have made the difficult decision to limit our guest list due to venue capacity. Please note that only the individuals named on the invitation are invited. This decision was made with careful consideration, and we thank you for understanding!

There are no more rooms in the room block, what should I do?

If there are no more rooms in the room block and you would like to stay at The Westin, please reach out to Hannah, as she can add more rooms. If there are no more available rooms, there are various surrounding hotels as well as Airbnb options.

Can I bring my child?

In order to ensure that all guests are able to fully enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. While we adore the little ones in our lives, we have decided to create an environment that allows for relaxation and enjoyment for all adult guests.

RSVP Reminder

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you! Just a friendly reminder that the RSVP deadline is March 1st. If we don’t receive your RSVP by then, we will unfortunately have to assume that you won’t be able to attend, as we need to finalize our guest list and arrangements. We truly hope you can join us! If you have any questions or need assistance with the RSVP, feel free to reach out. Thank you for your understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

.... duh.

Where do I park?

If you are not staying in the hotel, just let them know you’re there for the DeVany wedding when you pull in, there should be no issues with parking! Same goes for anyone staying in the hotel as well!
