Kyle and I first met at work where we are both personal trainers. He was quiet and shy, but I felt determined to get to know him because he seemed like a great guy. We hung out in groups with friends and co-workers and my feelings for him grew. I knew I did not want to date a co-worker, so I hid my feelings, only telling my closest friend. Little did I know, that many of our friends also thought we'd be great together, so they had tried to play matchmaker, even letting Kyle know my feelings! He had the green light to ask me out, but his shyness overtook him...We spent the next few months hanging out in groups and having a great time together, but he still didn't ask me out! I was just about to give up when we went out to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a blast but once the night came to an end, we went our separate ways. Then, on the way home, Kyle texted me asking if I'd ever be interested in going to dinner sometime (EEEEEEK!!!) I'm pretty sure my response was something along the lines of, "About time you asked! Of course!" We haven't looked back since 😊

Over the past year and a half, Kyle and I have shared an amazing life together. We've been on several trips, finding some of our all time favorite places including: Friday Harbor, Leavenworth, Port Townsend, Arizona, Colorado, and Maui, where we plan to be married!

We're very excited for our future together and look forward to many more adventures!
