Our Story

Hannah and Pat met their freshman year at Arkansas and were friends throughout their time there but did not date until after they graduated. Hannah was living in NYC when Pat moved to Boston for work and stopped there on his way to Boston, and the rest is history!&nbsp;A year later, Hannah moved to Boston to live with Patrick and our love grew for each other in this beautiful city. We enjoy going to Celtics and Red Sox games, being at the beach in our neighborhood Squantum, and of course spending time with our very demanding toy dogs, Betsy and Benny.&nbsp;Boston has been the city where we fell in love, started our (dog) family and bought our first home, so we cannot wait to host our loved ones in Beantown!

Our Wedding

Friday, August 12th

Deb &amp; John Mahoney will be hosting a welcome reception for all guests who are able to join at Port 305 in Marina Bay from 6-10pm. Food &amp; Drink will be served and transportation provided. The shuttle bus will be at the hotel at 5:30pm to take the first group. The second shuttle will arrive around 6:15pm-6:30pm to take another group. Additional trips are available as well. Please just let Hannah know.

Saturday, August 13th

There is no airport shuttle to the hotel. We recommend taking a Taxi or Uber from the airport.

Transportation

Rental Car not necessary unless you are planning on leaving downtown Boston. Please note the Hampton Inn does not have a parking garage so if you do rent a car, you will need to pay for Valet Parking ($55 per day). All wedding activities will either be walkable or we will provide transportation to guests.

Travel

We hope you all take the time to explore Boston and see some of the history! Here are a few things we recommend: - The Freedom Trail, you don't need to walk the whole thing but definitely check out the Public Gardens! It's America's first public park and has beautiful flowers and trees from around the world. - The Seaport neighborhood has no shortage of restaurants or shops. We love Trillium Brewery and Harpoon (both are very close to the Hotel!) - Museum of Science is a great option for younger kids (and adults) - Walk around Fenway area and check out ballpark. The Yankees and Red Sox are playing on 8/14. - Duck Boat Tours, these take off from the Museum of Science and are a cool way to see the city! - Walk down Newbury Street and Commonwealth Ave, this is Boston's Rodeo Drive. Lots of high end shopping, restaurants and galleries - If you like old architecture, it's great to walk around the Beacon Hill neighborhood. It's full of cobblestone streets and beautiful brownstones.
