We appreciate that some of you wonderful people will be coming from quite far away and we will therefore try and offer as much help and advice as possible in the run up to your arrival!

Hopefully most of you will be able to take the time to make the most of the trip and will be planning on arriving at least a few days in advance of the wedding!

There are two airports in Northern Ireland, Belfast City and Belfast International Airport, both very handy, International is about 40 minutes from Lisburn and City is about 20 minutes away.

Another option is Dublin Airport, which is obviously in the Republic of Ireland (they use Euros down there, the North uses Sterling) but there is a great bus service from the airport into Belfast City Centre, or a place called Sprucefield which is 5 minutes away from Lisburn.

The wedding is taking place just outside of Lisburn, which is the town where Hannah grew up and went to school.

There are currently two hotels in Lisburn, one is a Premier Inn on the Hillsborough Road, and the Haslem Hotel which is in the very centre of Lisburn.

Other areas to consider staying which will also be handy; obviously Belfast, which is the capital of Northern Ireland and would be a 20 minute drive. There will be trains and buses available from Belfast to Lisburn and it would then be a 10 minute taxi ride.

Hillsborough is only 10 minutes from Lisburn as well, there's a beautiful boutique hotel in Hillsborough called 'Arthurs' which is owned by friends of ours, and they also own 'Ralphs' in Moira, which is also a fairly easy commute to Lisburn.

The same friends also own a large B&B just outside of Hillsborough called 'Lisnacurran' and they are also another option if a larger group would all like to stay together. Hannah's Mum, Ann, has already put an enquiry in with the owner.

As we get closer to the time and we can ascertain where people are staying and how many people will need transport, we may look into organising buses or minivans to try and help as many people as possible who may not have access to cars.
