Hunter and Hannah met in their second semester of medical school at karaoke, and had plenty of time to chat while everyone else was singing. The laughs have not stopped since that first conversation, though they happen more in coffee shops now than karaoke bars. Their first date was only a few weeks later, when Hunter invited Hannah to have dinner at his favorite Mexican restaurant, which of course turned out to be closed. But they worked through that trial and never looked back!

Life together became a sweet rhythm of school, church and community. As they progressed through some of the hardest parts of medical school, they decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together too. Hunter proposed in May 2023 on Georgia Tech's campus, knowing how much it meant to Hannah. And of course, she said yes! Since getting engaged they have continued to grow together and closer to God, awaiting the next chapter of life with excitement.
